Kadai Paneer
It has been a long time since I published my last post. Back to blog🙂. This is a very quick delicious and easy recipe which takes 20-30 min to prepare.Kadai Paneer is a tasty dish made with paneer and capsicum.The restaurants serve two kind of kadai paneer.Many serve kadai paneer with gravy. Many serve semi-dry version.The one I shared here today. Both tastes fantastic on its own.Its all about preferences.

Ingredients :
Serves -3
Paneer cubes - 1 cup
Green capsicum - 1 sliced
Onion -1 big choppedGinger garlic paste -1 tsp
Tomato Puree - 1 cupGreen capsicum - 1 sliced

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder - 3/4 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder - 3/4 tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Salt needed

Method :
1. Cut paneer into small cubes and shallow fry the paneer slightly. Keep it aside.
2. Cut capsicum and saute
it separately in just 2 tsp of oil. 3.Chop the onions and keep it ready.
4. Put 2 or 3 tomatoes in boiling water and switch it off. After 10 minutes, remove its skin and puree it. Keep 1 cup of tomato puree ready.
5. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a kadai, add
cumin seeds, when it splutters, add onions and saute until onions turn
golden brown. Stir continuously for even browning. Add a little salt to
speed up the process. Keep the flame on medium.
6. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a few more minutes.7. Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt needed.
8. Cook well until oil separates. Once the tomato puree is well cooked, add paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
9. Add the capsicum and cook covered for another 2-3 minutes. You can add 1 or 2 tbsp of water, if the sabzi is too dry. This sabzi will be semi dry.
10. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves
Serve with hot rotis.
