Paneer Pepper Dry Fry

Winter's here and so is the craving for good food. PPaneer Pepper Dry Fry is a vegetarian recipe that is popularly relished as a starter. This Indian recipe is a great substitute of chicken starter and is a popular choice among vegetarians.The recipe is quite easy to make and requires little preparation.  The recipe involves deep-frying of paneer cubes with a mix of corn flour and some spices to flavor it up. Lets learn how to make it at home by following the steps mentioned below.

Ingredients :
Servings - 3-4
  • Paneer - 125 gms
  • Corn flour - 3 tbsp
  • Maida - 3 tbsp
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4th tsp
  • Soya sauce - 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying 
  • Green chillies - 2 slit
  • Curry leaves - 5-6
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 3/4th tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp

Method : 
  1. Take a bowl combine corn flour, maida, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, soya sauce, ginger garlic paste and add some water, prepare a thick paste.
  2. Now add paneer and coat well then keep aside.
  3. Heat sufficient oil for deep frying, Add paneer and fry for couple of minutes till outer layer of paneer is fried well & crisp.
  4. Melt some butter in a pan, add slit green chillies, curry leaves, coriander powder, pepper powder,red chilli powder,some salt and mix well,cook for a minute.
  5. Finally ad fried paneer an toss well,till all the masalas coats the paneer well. Add some lemon juice and top it & Serve hot.
