Karacha Dosai / Mixed flour dosa / Instant Wheat Dosa
Instant Wheat Dosa
Ingredients :
Servings :4-5
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Rice Flour - 1 cup
- Green chillies -2 finely chopped
- Curry leaves - few
- Salt as needed
- Water - 4 cups
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Hing/Asafoetida - a pinch
- Cumin seeds/Jeera - 2 tsp
- In a large bowl, add wheat flour there should not be any lumps in the wheat flour.
- Add 1 cup of water mix it well to make smooth paste.
- Now add rice flour, green chillies, cumin seeds, salt, add water if required to make dosa batter consistency. Keep aside for minimum of 5 minutes
- Heat a tsp of oil, add mustards seeds, when it splutters, add hing and pour it into the dosa batter and mix well. Now our wheat dosa batter is ready.
- Heat the dosa pan pour a ladleful of the batter at the centre of dosa pan and start making dosa in circular motion.
- Sprinkle some oil over the edges.
- Serve Hot with Sambhar / Chutney!!!
